Had a Mushroom n Swiss Burger .....so delicious. Nice, relaxing, Mellow atmosphere and good service. The owner is a friendly guy. He always talks to us when we eat there.

Great food! Don’t plan on calling food in. I tried last week they told me 20 mins. Stopped in 20 mins later to be stuck holding my son for 20+ minutes waiting for the food. Today I called In thinking maybe last week was a fluke was told 15 mins. Walked In 15 minutes later to wait around for another ten to let them know to cancel the order and she went to help find out what was going on 5 mins later I walked out.

Second time coming here since moved in Godrey last November. My husband and I really enjoyed their food and service. Love menus with different options then other restaurants. I had their Greek Omelette was very good.

Friendly staff. Food took quite awhile to come out. Food was pretty good. Really liked the poached eggs. Blueberry pancakes were ok, nothing too special. My sister, however, ordered the ham, eggs, & hash browns and thought it was fantastic. Give it a shot. It may not be 5 star but it's inexpensive, pretty good and has nice people.

Excellent food, great prices and friendly staff. Lots of breakfast options. Clean, bright no frills atmosphere. It's my new favorite spot.

This is one of the best places in Alton to get breakfast or lunch. Not open for dinner. Located in a small strip mall. If lot is crowded you'll wait a while for a table. Menu rarely changes and food is always well prepared. Prices fair and wait staff are delightfull so you'll want to tip well.

Omelette was good sized! They also have turkey sausage.

Always a great meal here. Their iced tea is very good too. Friendly staff members will see to your needs.

This place is amazing, great food, awesome service. Highly recommend. My husband and I come every Sunday, just in love with this place. I’d give it a 10 if I could.

Food is great. Prices are reasonable. It was rather noisy due to the large crowd. Charged me $0.76 as a surcharge for using a credit card. This seems to be more or less standard practice anymore.

Favorite Breakfast Spot. Can get busy but always worth the wait.

Joe K’s is a small breakfast spot in Godfrey that provides excellent breakfast food at a price that won’t hurt the wallet. Pictured is the “meat lover’s omelet w/ a side of hash-browns & toast”. It was one of the best omelets I’ve ever had. The restaurant was packed & we had a wait time of ~10 minutes.

Service was very fast and friendly. Food was awesome and the variety on the menu was exceptional! We'll definitely make the trip back.

Best Eggs Benedict in the area....3 choices!.. salmon, country style and original... we will be back!!!!!....great service, nice clean restraunt, WONDERFUL menu!!!!...highly recommend!

Amazinggggg i love there food. Great atmosphere

Today was the fourth or fifth time I've visited Joe K's over the last year. Staff is friendly and they sure draw a crowd to this place! Dining room was full of people and kept clean. This is a breakfast and lunch "Diner" style restaurant. I've had both breakfast and lunch and would recommend the slinger and big country for breakfast. For lunch, the Reuben and roast beef sandwich are my top picks. It'd be hard to get a bad plate of food here and the service has been consistent and relatively quick. I do not recommend the fish n chips. The portion is small for the cost and may have been a timing thing but my fish and fries tasted like old grease. The cook definitely did not let the frier warm back up before dropping the food as the grease taste soaked all the way through the batter too. If it weren't for today's fish fry disappointment I'd be all in at 5 stars.

The new menu is awesome! The Floridian Omelet is banging! Our 2nd time ordering it.

The place was busy but got sat right down the waitress was Great and very helpful when we got our food it was just what we ordered and very good will definitely go back if we are in town.

Hustling and bustling ever time I go. Sometimes my food takes a while but with how busy they are I would expect that. Never had to send anything back wrong and it's always been delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Everything a classic diner should be. Most professional staff around. A hidden, homestyle culinary jem. If you're visiting the area be sure to have breakfast here.

Refills on anything other than coffee is non-existent. Anyone drinking water for health reasons won't get refills.

Food was good. Had the pretzel ham and cheese and it was amazing, and the chocolate pie was glorious. I'll definitely be back.

The food was affordable as well as delicious. I was incredibly impressed with their hospitality as well. Despite being standing room only in the waiting area, there was a warm reception by staff and friendly banter among and with staff while waiting. Upon being seated, we were greeted immediately and provided with drinks and menus. The waitress checked in consistently and we felt cared for without being rushed. There was a reasonable wait for the meals and the food was hot and very good. All in all, we were very pleased.

Come here at least 2-3 times a week for breakfast. This place is extraordinarily clean.. thats a huge plus in my book.. Ive never had anything that wasnt great. Sandwiches are huge, eggs always cooked perfectly, service is friendly. Sundays are always packed after church..

Just can't get enough of this place! The menu is general diner fare, but the food quality is better than EVERY other place in the St. Louis metro area at the single $ price range. (Entrees $6-$11 average)I visit this establishment at least 2 to 3 times weekly with my girlfriend... It's THAT good.They are open for breakfast and lunch till 2pm daily, and I have constantly mentioned to the staff that their style and quality of cooking would be a hit for dinner too.Please take the time to stop by and have a meal or two here, everything is TOP NOTCH!!

I was invited to have breakfast at Joe K's with my friend and Godchild the day after Valentine's Day. The restaurant was full, but the seating arrangement was conducive for the movement of those serving. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. As we settled, she took our beverage and food orders. The food was served hot and it was delicious. I totally enjoyed my first time eating at Joe K's Restaurant.
